As part of the activities of Environmental Week, and under the patronage of Prof. Loai Saad El-Deen Nasrat, President of Aswan University, and Prof. Ashraf Imam, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environment Development, and under the supervision and implementation of Prof. Abdel Moneim El-Gilani, Dean of the Institute, and Prof. Mohamed Soliman, Vice Dean of the Institute for Community Service and Environment Development, the Institute organized a scientific seminar entitled “The Role of Green Fiscal Policy in Addressing Climate Change.”
The symposium was delivered by Prof. Karima Mohamed El-Saghir– professor at the Department of Politics and Economics at the Institute of African and Nile states Research and Studies, Aswan University. She discussed the importance of adopting green fiscal policies as an effective tool for addressing environmental challenges and climate change, as well as their role in achieving sustainable development.
The seminar was attended by a number of Academic staff and students. It was held in the hall of the Faculty of Social Work at 10:00 a.m., with notable engagement from attendees and fruitful discussions on ways to promote environmental sustainability.
