About the Department

The Department of Politics and Economics was established within the departments of the Institute of African and states Studies and Research at the university in 2016. It includes two specialties: Politics and Economics. The Department of Politics and Economics is considered one of the leading scientific departments in the field of politics and economics at the level of faculties and institutes in Egypt and the world. In addition, it is a service department that serves all other departments of the institute.

The department is interested in studying the political and economic aspects of the political and economic sector and the issues related to them in Egypt, the world and African countries. It is also interested in providing its graduates with a theoretical and practical background that combines administrative skills, which enable them to have administrative skills and solutions to problems related to Egypt and the African continent and contribute to the formulation of economic policies in the field of specialty.
