The monthly meeting of the Institute of African and Nile Basin Studies for November of the academic year 2025/2026 was held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Abdel Moneim El-Gilani, Dean of the Institute, and attended by Prof. Hossam Mohamed Ramadan, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, as well as Academic staff and teaching assistants.
At the beginning of the meeting, Prof. Abdel Moneim El-Gilani congratulated the faculty members, teaching assistants, and staff of the Institute on the great success of the cultural forum “The Nile: A Civilization That Unites Us.” He commended everyone’s efforts and contributions, which resulted in the event being a resounding success befitting the reputation of the Institute and Aswan University.
The meeting also included the attendance of Prof. Hossam Mohamed Ramadan, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, and members of the teaching staff. Prof. Hossam Mohamed Ramadan emphasized the importance of maintaining a spirit of cooperation among all members of the institute, explaining that the institute’s successes in various scientific and cultural fields reflect its distinction and leadership in serving the issues of the African continent and the Nile Basin countries.
The meeting continued with a discussion of key issues related to the workflow and educational process within the institute, stressing the need to overcome obstacles to ensure academic and administrative discipline and support future development plans.
At the conclusion of the meeting, attendees affirmed their commitment to continuing to work as a unified team to achieve further excellence and accomplishments, under the auspices and support of the Aswan University administration.
