He commended the significant progress achieved in performance across the various units of the Institute.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The meeting addressed several important matters, most notably the Institute&#8217;s scientific journal and the developmental steps taken in its publishing and peer-review processes, which enhance the journal&#8217;s standing and increase its academic reach at both the local and regional levels. The latest developments in the work of the institute&#8217;s various units were also discussed, including specialized units and the Quality and Development Unit. Emphasis was placed on the need to enhance integration among these units to ensure the achievement of the institute&#8217;s strategic goals and to elevate the level of scientific and research services provided.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In this context, Prof. Abdel Moneim El-Gilani stressed to the academic departments the importance of holding intensive workshops to finalize the academic regulations, ensuring their completion in accordance with approved quality standards.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Prof. Hossam Mohamed Ramadan presented several topics related to postgraduate studies and research, emphasizing the importance of streamlining procedures for researchers, providing them with the necessary support, and completing plans to develop academic programs in line with the requirements of scientific research and to serve the issues of the African continent and the Nile Basin states.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The meeting addressed the most prominent challenges facing the educational and administrative processes within the institute, and the commitment to overcoming them was emphasized to ensure the strengthening of academic discipline and support for future development plans.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At the conclusion of the meeting, the attendees affirmed their commitment to continuing to work as a unified team and to striving for further excellence and achievement within the institute.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Sunday, November 23, 2025, the Institute of African and Nile Basin Studies held its meeting for the 2025\/2026 academic year, chaired by Prof. Abdel Moneim El-Gilani, Dean of the Institute, and attended by Prof. Hossam Mohamed Ramadan, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, as well as Academic staff and their assistants.
